This is a beautifully written piece - each chapter more intriguing than the next.
For such a slimline book, it covers a surprisingly wide range of content. Being someone who is in love with Bangladesh it is so very interesting to see the juxtaposition of the tragedy with the brilliant. The author writes of other brilliant authors and goes on to write about her thoughts on Bangladeshi society, interspersed with her own experiences.
It is a thoughtful read for anyone who is concerned with the current state of Bangladeshi society.
This author is also a poet and has released 2 excellent poetry books as well as a story book. She has been the recipient of 5 awards including the Bongobir Osmani Shitho Porushkar (2005) and the Riyaf Shorno Podok (2005).
