Quite unintentionally, though somewhat driven by the nature of submissions, this issue of Six Seasons Review has turned out to be a fabulous special on ‘Contemporary World Poetry’, with the works of some of the best poets writing in languages as diverse as Hebrew, Macedonian, Danish, Norwegian, Polish, German, Korean, Iranian, English, Urdu, Bangla, coming together. Poets from countries as varied as Bhutan, Nepal, Bangladesh, Pakistan, India, Israel, Iran, Korea, America, Canada, England, Scotland, Poland, Slovenia, Macedonia, Denmark, Norway, and others have united under the common flag of poetry and camaraderie.
It is a privilege to present such an array of glittering stars - many known and some unknown - to our readers who I am sure will savour the poems as much as we have. And the good news is that we have more such poems in store, and the next issue of Six Seasons Review will also have a special section devoted to “Contemporary World Poetry.”
Write in with your comments and suggestions. We will be introducing a ‘Letters Column’ in the next issue. With this issue we are introducing a regular feature -'In My Anecdotage' - which will present the memoirs of interesting personalities. The inaugural issue of Six Seasons Review was greeted with enormous love and success. Our sincerest gratitude to our readers and contributors whose success it really was.
