This is one of the first book of its kind in Bangladesh. Even though there are numerous books availble on birds of of the south Asian region, this is the only book that truly covers the birds of Bangladesh. The author lists 100 most common birds that you can see around the country.
Throughout the book the author puts his personal emotional experinces. I would rather see more description of each bird species and how to spot them.
In some cases author gives information like where you can see those birds that are not widely available. For example, to see a "Gangchil" or, "Pan Kouri" you need to visit a wetland like Kaptai lake on Rangamati. I found this information useful.
Finally, the one thing that could improve the quality of the book 10 times better if the authour could provide some better quality pictures of the birds. I understand the restriction that high cost of paper and publishing has, yet a book on birds demand high quality photos.
I eagerly wait to see more books on this topic.
